I explicity mention if something is my own work.. if not, I will post credit if I have it. :)

What are your favorite fashion and design blogs?

I’m interested because of a new blog I am thinking about launching that will incorporate my portfolio + “fun stuff” like outfits I wear, designs I found online, and also blog posts about spiritual-related things. I’m still in the researching phase and am looking for active fashion/design blogs to see what they’re doing before returning to my drawing board. :)
A vision board for my senior studio class. This is where I see myself in 5-10 years. I didn’t want to put material things (I left out the Porsche and Louboutin’s), but rather… focus on where I see myself, design-wise.
The I believe in pink references my favorite Audrey Hepburn quote, “I believe in pink. I believe that laughing is the best calorie burner. I believe in kissing, kissing a lot. I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day and I believe in miracles.”
I don’t know why I haven’t tried this before…
but splitting my screen between a show on Hulu, and 3DS Max is definitely one of the best ways for me to focus, and not get distracted by other people’s monitors and/or my anxiety. :P I’ve been in the lab for 6 hours already and have got another 7 or so to go!
3:30 PM: pretty much completed modeling one floor. need to do a bit more.. but not bad! i just wish i could have gotten more done.
oh well, my co-worker offered to cover my shift tomorrow.. so guess who’s going to be in the school lab literally ALL DAY on sunday? this gal. <3
Saturday morning, 8AM: This is what I’m starting with.
Gonna post a progress picture right before I head out for work in 7 hours…. ‘cus I’m a nerd and am so proud of myself for being the first person in the lab this morning, and I want to brag about it. :P
BAM! My 3D skills have definitely improved since the start of the semester! ;) Still working on getting better though.
Cinco de Mayo:
A fake celebration that the U.S. deemed “Mexico’s Independence Day”. Just so all of you know, May 5th is NOT Mexico’s Independence Day, it was just the day they won the Battle of Puebla (a war against the French). You want a real Mexican celebration? September 16th, that’s where it’s at.. the day Mexico kicked Spain’s ass out. :3
I may not “look/act” Mexican, but I do know my culture’s history, thank you very much.
Because of that, I am not at all upset that I am spending my day in the school lab before work. :) Hope everyone is having fun, though!
Each of these took me about 4 hours, and I need about 10 more. Talk about slaving away at the computer!
IAD Club.
Our first event was an awesome success. We ran out of seating, which was so unexpected! :) The posters I made are pretty fab, too, amirite?
